Coi Leray Sneak Disses Latto On “Isabel Marant” Single

Latto's verse in the song "Put It On Da Floor," where she raps "Smoking on that gas, blunt big as Coi Leray," sparked tension between the two artists. The lyrics alluding to Coi Leray's physical appearance led to a clash between them. In April, Coi Leray expressed her dissatisfaction on social media, asserting that mentioning her body in such a manner was inappropriate.

On Twitter, Coi Leray wrote, "Latto bye. here you go taking about my body. Please do not come on here and talk about nobody BODY. Like seriously. Out of all things. This situation seems never-ending." She further commented, "These individuals want to imitate others so desperately. They're so eager to engage in rap rivalries. Anyone discussing my body desires MY BODY!!!!!!!!!!!! Truly badly."

Shortly after the initial outburst, Coi Leray acknowledged that she might have reacted strongly, yet she maintained her discomfort with her name being used in a song solely for attention and popularity. She wrote, "Address those you genuinely have issues with. Put it on the floor, but exclude me from the nonsense."

Although Latto and Coi Leray appeared to resolve their differences a few days later, Coi Leray reiterated her grievances with the "Put It On Da Floor" lyrics during a June interview with Apple Music. She expressed her viewpoint that the lyrics were disrespectful and offensive, emphasizing her right as a human being to voice her feelings, particularly considering her background and values.
