A$AP Rocky was arrested as he arrived in L.A. on Wednesday morning.

The rapper flew into LAX on a private jet from Barbados where he was met by cops at the terminal and taken away in handcuffs.

The rapper flew into LAX on a private jet from Barbados where he was met by cops at the terminal and taken away in handcuffs. According to NBC News, he was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon in connection with a November 2021 shooting that had previously been unreported in the media.

Rocky, born Rakim Mayers, had been under investigation by the LAPD for the Nov. 6 shooting in Hollywood. The shooting victim, who survived, later told police that Mayers approached him with a handgun on the street. The victim claimed Mayers shot at him three to four times and grazed his left hand.

LAPD made the arrest with help from Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s Homeland Security Investigations team. Rocky’s attorney, Alan Jackson, confirmed that his client had been arrested., he was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon in connection with a November 2021 shooting that had previously been unreported in the media.
